Security in Kampala is investigating the alleged attempts on celebrated Ugandan musician Namukwaya Hajara Diana, popularly known as Spice Diana’s life.
This follows allegations that she narrowly escaped what appears to have been a targeted attack on Friday night.
A security source said they have started investigating to find out what really happened.
The “Siri Regular” singer was reportedly ambushed by an unknown boda boda rider who vandalized her high-end Range Rover.
According to social media reports, the incident unfolded after Spice Diana was trailed by individuals suspected to be armed with pavers. When she stopped her vehicle, one of the assailants began smashing its windows, shattering the windshield in the process.
The Source Management artist was inside the car at the time of the attack but managed to escape unharmed. No physical injuries were reported, though the incident left the singer visibly shaken.
Spice Diana later broke her silence on social media, expressing thanks to God who protected her.
But critics say the attack was staged by the artist her self for own motives.
They said there is no way she could have escaped with out any serious injuries if the attackers were real.
By press time police was yet to comment on the entire incident.
