Just days after this publication exposed Muhangi Andrew’s fraudulent past, fake academic credentials, and suspicious wealth that cost him a top job at the Inspectorate of Government and Uganda National Oil City, new revelations suggest his troubles are far from over. His once carefully curated image of a youthful tycoon is disintegrating fast — now replaced by allegations of land grabbing, sexual misconduct, labor exploitation, and hostility toward the very community that once welcomed him.
Community Outrage as Muhangi Closes Public Road
Residents of Kakanju, Bushenyi District, are up in arms after Muhangi controversially blocked off a community access road that had existed for decades — simply because it passed through his newly acquired 75-acre estate.
After erecting a high-grade fence around the vast farmland, Muhangi reportedly sealed off the route, effectively cutting off locals from vital amenities such as a nearby health center, school, and trading center. Attempts by local leaders to engage him on the matter were reportedly met with arrogance and threats.
“We used that road to access Kakanju Health Centre and our children used it to go to school,” said one angry resident. “Now we have to walk kilometers around his land. It’s not just selfish — it’s a declaration of war on the community.”
Local leaders say they’re considering petitioning the Bushenyi District Land Board and courts to force the reopening of the road.
Land Grabbing in Disguise? Muhangi’s Permanent Structures Raise Red Flags
While it is true that Muhangi was leased part of the disputed land from local authorities, fresh concerns have emerged about his real intentions. Sources say he has started erecting permanent structures — including brick-walled ranch houses and commercial sheds — on land that was only temporarily leased.
“He’s bragging that once he sets up permanent structures, nobody will chase him,” revealed a source familiar with his dealings. “That’s his strategy — use wealth to intimidate locals, then grab land that isn’t his. He’s done it before.”
Given his already tainted record — from ghost procurements in the Ministry of Works to alleged theft of FACE Technologies servers — critics warn that his real estate empire may just be another chapter in his long con.
Sexual Harassment Claims Emerge: “He Promised Jobs and Used Us”
As the rot around Muhangi’s empire continues to surface, several young women have come forward accusing him of sexual harassment. According to sources, he routinely lured vulnerable ladies with promises of government job placements or positions on his farm — only to turn them into targets of his sexual advances.
“He called me for an interview and later started making inappropriate demands,” one victim shared anonymously. “When I refused, he never picked my calls again. I later learned it’s his pattern.”
While no formal charges have been filed, activists are urging police to investigate and protect the women brave enough to speak out.
Farm Workers Cry Foul Over Unpaid Wages: “He Owes Us Millions”
Inside his so-called “modern farm,” the situation is equally toxic. Several laborers hired to work on the estate say they haven’t been paid for months. Some claim they are owed as much as UGX 3 million each — money they say was promised after weeks of intensive work.
“He used us to clear the bush, dig trenches, and set up livestock units,” said one worker. “But now he won’t pick our calls. We’re stuck. Some of us borrowed money to survive while waiting for payment.”
Others accuse him of creating a hostile working environment, with armed guards patrolling the estate and preventing anyone from confronting him directly.
A House of Cards Falling
With every new revelation, it is becoming increasingly clear that Muhangi’s so-called empire was built not on hard work or integrity — but on manipulation, deceit, and exploitation.
What started as a scandal over fake degrees and stolen government assets is fast snowballing into a full-blown collapse of a fraudulent empire.
His name, once floated for senior government positions, is now whispered only in scandals. His friends have grown distant, his phones go unanswered, and his lies are finally catching up with him.
As investigations intensify and new victims speak out, one thing is becoming evident: Muhangi Andrew is a man running out of options, friends, and time.
